Unbox the Van Diemen's World Devils Command Collection and meet Shazza, Bingo, the Devil's Medic, Blue, the Comms Officer, and Standard Bearer. Learn what makes this command set essential for your World Devils army.
Quick answer
The Van Diemen's World Devils Command Collection includes six unique character models: Shazza, Bingo, the Devil's Medic, Blue, the Comms Officer, and the Standard Bearer. This tray is designed to add command and support options to your World Devils armies.
What makes this a command collection rather than a standard squad?
Unlike a standard ten-man squad, this tray focuses on individual characters that fill specific battlefield roles. You get a medic, a communications officer, a standard bearer, and named fighters rather than generic troopers. That means you can build a command section that actually looks and plays differently from your rank-and-file units.
Are there any trade-offs with this set?
The collection is a physical product tray, not a full squad box. If you need a complete platoon, you will still need to buy a separate squad kit for the rest of your troops. Also, because these are character models, their poses and equipment are fixed — you get less assembly freedom compared to a multi-option infantry box.
Frequently asked questions
- Who are Shazza and Bingo?
- Shazza and Bingo are named character models included in the command collection. They are distinct from the generic troopers in a standard squad, giving your army a bit of personality.
- What does the Devil's Medic do?
- The Devil's Medic model represents a battlefield medic for your World Devils. In game terms, it can help keep your command squad alive longer.
- What is Blue's role?
- Blue is another named character in the set. Like Shazza and Bingo, Blue adds a unique model to your force.
- Why include a Comms Officer and Standard Bearer?
- The Comms Officer and Standard Bearer are support models that provide battlefield communication and a rallying point. They visually distinguish your command section from regular squads.
- Is this a full squad or just characters?
- This is a command collection tray containing six character models, not a full ten-man squad. You will need additional squad kits to build out the rest of your platoon. Plan to combine this set with a standard squad box if you want a complete unit.
- Can I customize the poses or equipment?
- Because these are character models, their poses and gear are largely fixed. You have less conversion freedom compared to a multi-option infantry kit.
